But we’ve been taught not to judge a book by its cover. So this October, get ready to meet some of the scariest-looking marine animals in SEAA Wonders: Spooky Seas, and read beyond their eerie demeanour. 
Spooky Seas Adventure Trail
12 stations, 12 amazing facts, 1 great educational adventure. With a map in hand, kids can set off to learn amazing facts about seemingly scary animals at 12 activity stations around the aquarium.

Our aquarists will be sharing awesome information on scary-looking marine animals, with topics such as: Venomous Animals, Camouflage and Animal Defense.

Encounter in the Deep Sea – The Giant Squid
First ever footage of the legendary Giant Squid, as well as other rarely seen deep sea animals.
Spooky Seas Marine life
A 60-second feature of some of the strangest looking animals at S.E.A. Aquarium, including the vampire-like wolffish, African tigerfish, and powerful sawfish.

Dates: 4-6, 11-12, 18-19, 25-26 and 31 Oct

Get ready to pose and say cheese with our mermaid witch, sea jelly ghost and pumpkin puffer.

Time: 6.30 pm – 11am (following day)
The iconic sleepover programme takes on a Halloween twist, with you role-playing a witch or wizard apprentice attending the S.E.A.A wizardry convention!
There will be storytelling, educational Halloween-themed games, and an exclusive moonlight tour of the aquarium.
